A one-hour workshop at library branches in Digby, Shelburne and Yarmouth will explore the origins of the Mi’kmaw language and how it relates to the broader Algonquin language family.

Due to a planned power outage, Lockeport library is closed on Tuesday, April 30 from 2:30 to 6 p.m. The library will open from 6 to 7:30 p.m. that evening. Lockeport library has COVID-19 rapid test kits for the public.
