Drop in and work on a puzzle. This program is for adults.

Families with children five and younger can join library and Shelburne Family Resource Centre staff for a variety of free play, songs, games and story time at the library.

Adults and teens can drop in and work on our latest puzzle! This is available during branch open hours from July to September.

Toddlers and their caregivers are are invited to join staff for an hour of stories and play at the Yarmouth Library!

Adults and teens are invited to hang out and play modern board games. All experience levels are welcome. Games are available or participants may bring their own.

The library will be bring back it's free seed library just in time for seed starting season! Visit any of our 10 branches to find a selection of seeds to choose from. After growing, give seed saving a try and donate them back to the library. Seed donations are encouraged. Envelopes are available to place seeds in and label.

Meet your friends at the library to read books and play together! This drop-in program is for families with young children.

Children in upper elementary to preteen ages can join library clerk, "Feral Carol", for a variety of arts and crafts. Each session is a new project. Register by the day before the program at 5 pm by contacting the library.

Drop in and design and build using the library's LEGO collection. This program is for school aged children. Those under 9 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

The Yarmouth library hosts an ongoing meditation group every other Saturday. The group is open to anyone who wants to practice any form of silent, seated meditation in the company of others. This is followed by a brief discussion. If you are new to meditation, instructions on a simple technique are available upon request. Chairs are available for those who prefer them. This program is for people aged 16 and older. Contact the library for more information.
