Children in the Library

Children (under the age of 14) have equal access to the full range of services, materials and facilities available to other users in the library.

Parents or legal guardians must assume responsibility for monitoring the use of library materials by their own children, including information that is accessed through the Internet. Public computers, including internet, can be accessed using a library membership card. The library does not manage the content of the information accessed through the Internet. See Internet Terms of Use.

The library does not accept responsibility for children who are left unattended on library premises.

It is recommended that parents or legal guardians of children eight (8) years of age and younger remain on library premises with their children.

Parents or legal guardians are responsible for their child’s conduct on library premises as well as for any damages to library property by their children.
