The Board recognizes the right of library users to receive service in the official language of their choice. The Board makes every effort to provide services in both English and French when use indicates the need and when provision of such service is feasible.

A one-hour workshop at library branches in Digby, Shelburne and Yarmouth will explore the origins of the Mi’kmaw language and how it relates to the broader Algonquin language family.
