Carbon dioxide (C02) monitors, radon detectors, and energy meters are available at the library to help borrowers gauge the health of their home.

GivingTuesday was Nov. 28. Although the official day has passed, people can still donate and help raise funds to support the library’s Literacy Legacy Fund to help the library meets its many challenges.
There are 36 English books and 14 French books in the collection, which will be available for immediate borrowing by all Atlantic Canadian library patrons, with no holds or waitlists.
Western Counties Regional Library is offering free menstrual products at its 10 library branches.
People showed their love of Western Counties Regional Library by adopting 974 books during the 2022 Adopt-A-Book campaign.
The Adopt-A-Book campaign, which ran from Oct. 1 to Nov. 30, crushed its goal of having 750 new books adopted by the public to put on library shelves.
