Library offers an opportunity to learn more about Mi’kmaw language

A one-hour workshop at library branches in Digby, Shelburne and Yarmouth will explore the origins of the Mi’kmaw language and how it relates to the broader Algonquin language family.

Ages 8 and up can visit during open hours and enjoy playing a game of UNO, PayDay, Scrabble or various other games. People can also bring their own games to share with new friends. Children must be accompanied by an caregiver. Note: Look for the signs highlighting the library’s new Photography and Video in the Library policy.
