A one-hour workshop at library branches in Digby, Shelburne and Yarmouth will explore the origins of the Mi’kmaw language and how it relates to the broader Algonquin language family.

Free Income Tax Help for Seniors with Low Incomes

Get help filing your income tax return! Canada Revenue Agency registered volunteers will electronically file your income taxes. Drop-of your tax forms during library open hours or schedule an appointment on Tuesdays between 12:30 and 4:30 p.m. This service is open to all low-income seniors and residents of Shelburne County and is in partnership with Shelburne County Senior Safety & Services Society. For appointments, contact the library.
