Exhibit: Marc Chagall Inspired Painting

image of a woman in olive coloured pants and a green sweater with long brown hair and glasses lying in fron of a large painting with a person lying back on a white scallop shell reading and three people holding books, a green seal and red lobster with library book shelves in the background

This April exhibit features a large painting of artist Elly Dowson that was inspired by the Surrealist/Modernist painter Marc Chagall. Chagall painted in a style that was dreamy and used bright colour and images. The painting represents the fun of reading, Digby and the Maritimes. It is on display during open hours in April.
