Library offers an opportunity to learn more about Mi’kmaw language

A one-hour workshop at library branches in Digby, Shelburne and Yarmouth will explore the origins of the Mi’kmaw language and how it relates to the broader Algonquin language family.

Decorate a Plant Pot and Plant a Sunflower

Children aged 5 and up can decorate a plant pot and then plant a sunflower in it as a gift for Mother’s Day. Note: Free rides may be available through Sou’West Nova Transit. Call 844-637-2572 in advance to request a trip. Adults must travel with children under 16.
