Paper Roll Lobster
Children can get ready for lobster season by creating a cute lobster craft out of a paper roll. All library programs are free.
Exhibit: Fall Expo
This exhibit features the watercolour work of Alvina Theriault LeBlanc. A French Acadian from Belliveau’s Cove, the artist has been interested in painting since her childhood.
Science Club
Children aged 5 to 11 can explore and experiment with fun and engaging activities. Children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult.
Holiday Meal Planning
Adults are welcome to join library staff for a presentation on planning meals for the holidays! Register no later than Friday, Nov. 7 by contacting the library.
Community Play Group
Families with children five and younger can join library and Shelburne Family Resource Centre staff for a variety of free play, songs, games and story time at the library.
Preschool Story Time
Children aged five and under and their caregivers are invited to join Rafaela Pereira of Parent's Place for an hour of stories and play at the library. This program is in partnership with Parents Place.
Snack Time!
Children aged 2 to 6 will learn how to prepare their own nutritious snack. They will be taught basic food preparation skills.
Adult Board Game Night
Adults and teens are invited to hang out and play modern board games. All experience levels are welcome. Games are available or participants may bring their own.
Community Play Group
This program features fun stories, songs, games, and a craft for children five years and younger accompanied by a caregiver.
Preschool Fall Story Time
Children five and under and caregivers can enjoy stories, songs and activities.
Family Fridays
Meet your friends at the library to read books and play together! This drop-in program is for families with young children.
