The exhibit Avian Omens features the multimedia art of Theresa Rollet. For thousands of years, feathers have been seen as symbols and omens. The artist began collecting feathers during a difficult time in her life. She sees them as symbols of protection, harbingers of change and signs that she was not alone in the world.

Families with children five and younger can join library and Shelburne Family Resource Centre staff for a variety of free play, songs, games and story time at the library.
Children aged five and under and their caregivers are invited to join Rafaela Pereira of Parent's Place for an hour of stories and play at the library. This program is in partnership with Parents Place.
