1-on-1 Device Help

Crafter Noons
Join other crafters to chat and share ideas. Bring your own supplies to work on your project while enjoying good company. This program is for adults.
LEGO Play
Drop in and design and build using the library's LEGO collection. This program is for children aged 4 to 12 (those under 9 years of age must be accompanied by an adult).
Basics of Autodesk Sketchbook
This program explores the app Autodesk Sketchbook and making digital drawings. It is a two part workshop. In session 1 we will play with the program to discover some of its options. In session 2 we will create a wooded landscape scene and print it to take home. Register by contacting the library by February 12.
Chalk Art Emu
Children can use different techniques with chalk to draw an emu during open hours from March 3 to 31. All library programs are free.
Exhibit: Gladys Lewis-Jennings
Stop into the library to see art by local artist, Gladys Lewis-Jennings. The exhibit features different hooked rugs and flowers made of fabric. This is available to view in March during branch open hours.

March Break Fun
If your looking for something to do during March Break, drop in during open hours and get creative with the library's Mr. Potato Heads. Bring a friend and explore the library's robot Sphero Minis or play with LEGO.

Join a fun group to learn a new needlecraft skill or bring a work in progress. This program is for adults.
Free Low Income Tax Clinic
Get your income tax filed! CRA registered volunteers will file your taxes online from March 3 to April 30, 2026. Drop your forms off during library open hours, or book an appointment on Tuesdays between 12:30 and 4:30 pm. Contact the library to book an appointment. This program is open to all low-income residents in Shelburne County. This program is in partnership with Our Senior Services.
