People can borrow binocular kits from the library and explore the night skies, watch birds or marine animals.

All 10 Western Counties Regional Library branches have kits to borrow in backpacks. They contain two sets of larger binoculars, two sets of smaller binoculars, and user guides for exploring the night skies, birding and observing marine life.

“It offers something creative and fun for families, small groups or individuals to borrow and use,” says Lydia Hunsberger, Manager of Collections and Digital Services.

The units are available to borrow as of July 10. The loan period is three weeks.
