Apply to be on the library accessibility advisory committee

Western Counties Regional Library needs volunteers to be part of the library accessibility committee. The committee will include representatives from Digby, Shelburne and Yarmouth counties.

Do you identify as:

• Living with a disability
• Being neurodivergent
• Being d/Deaf
• Living with a mental health condition

Or do you work with people with disabilities?

Committee members will help shape our accessibility policies and practices. This will make our libraries a place for everyone. Members will attend 3 meetings per year. Volunteers are paid to attend meetings.

If you have lived, professional, or advocacy experience that you believe benefits the committee, please apply.
