Introduction
This policy gives information on why the library sells used books and other items. It also gives information on how it sells used books and other items.
Sales
The library holds used book sales. They sell older items the library does not need. They sell donated items the library does not need. Items are sold as is.
Each item has a set price. The price is the same no matter what condition an item is in.
Sometimes the library will sell many items together for a lower price. This is decided by the library director.
The prices for used items are as follows.
Book Sale Prices
Hardcover book – $0.50
Paperback book – $0.25
Magazine – $0.25
Compact disc (CD) – $0.25
Digital video disc (DVD) – $1.00
Audio book – $0.50
