Introduction
The library must raise 3% of the money that it needs to provide services to the public. It asks for donations from the community. It runs fundraising campaigns.
Fundraising for Other Groups
The library only raises funds for these groups.
- Western Counties Regional Library
- Western Counties Regional Library Charitable Association
The library does not raise funds for any other groups.
Library branches cannot do other fundraising. This includes putting out collection jars. It includes any other fundraising for charities.
Friends of the Library Groups
Friends of the Library are groups that support a library branch. They do the following:
- Ask the Library what their fundraising needs are
- Raise money for the Library
- Tell people about the library
