These rules apply only to the Library Accessibility Survey Draw Prize.
Eligibility
The contest is open to all residents in Annapolis County, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, Cumberland County, Digby County, Guysborough County, Inverness County, Kings County, Richmond County, Shelburne County, Victoria County, West Hants Regional Municipality, Yarmouth County. Current members of the regional library boards employees of Annapolis Valley Regional Library, Cape Breton Regional Library, Colchester-East Hants Public Library, Cumberland Public Libraries, Eastern Counties Regional Library and Western Counties Regional Library cannot enter the draw.
A person can submit one ballot only.
Duplicate entries will be removed from play.
Incomplete entries will be removed from play.
If the selected winner is under the age of 19, a form must be completed by the parent or guardian for the winner to be eligible to accept the prize.
Personal Information and Privacy
We collect personal details only for the contest. By giving this information, you consent to its use for the stated purpose.
Selection and Notification
We draw the winner’s name from all eligible entries received before the specified contest closing date. The chances of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. We will notify the winners within three (3) days of the draw using the contact information on the ballot.
If a winner does not respond to such notification within five (5) business days and/or does not meet the stated eligibility requirements, then the winner is disqualified. The member libraries reserve the right to select at random an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries.
Claiming Prizes
It is the responsibility of the winner to arrange to pick up their prize from a library branch in their region within sixty (60) days of winning. If the winner needs special accommodations, they must contact their regional library within the sixty (60) days. If a prize is not picked up within sixty (60) days, then the winner forfeits their winnings.
All prizes must be accepted as awarded, are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
Presentation of proper identification may be required prior to receiving the prize (valid driver’s license, passport, or another photo ID).
The decision the regional library makes, with respect to any dispute or issue involving the contest rules, is final and binding for all entrants.
