Meet author donalee Moulton and learn about her new book Conflagration!. The novel is based on the true story of an enslaved Black woman accused of arson in Montreal in 1734. Take a step back in time, and learn about the justice system in New France almost 300 years ago. The reading includes a quiz and a conversation with local author Sandra Phinney. This program is possible because of funding support from Canada Council for the Arts through The Writers’ Union of Canada.
