Summer Reading Club takes a trip ‘Around the World’

Readers young and old can set out on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure to faraway places. Through reading and programs, they will let the wind carry them through arid deserts, over snow-capped mountains and across glittering oceans as they fill their travel journals with photos and share their treasured memories in postcards home.

Sea Glass Jewelry

Did you find some nice pieces of sea glass while beachcombing this summer? Learn how to make pendant earrings or necklaces with your sea treasures. The library will have a selection of sea glass if you don’t have any. This program is for adults. Register no later than Saturday, Sept. 13 by contacting the library. All library programs are free.
