Exhibit: The Gifts of Mother Earth

This exhibit offers paintings by artist Debbie LeBlanc Kilpatrick that feature examples of some of the gifts Mother Nature shares with us. Debbie LeBlanc Kilpatrick is an Acadian artist from Clare. She started painting as a young girl. As she has grown as an artist, she has developed a style which captures the beauty of the land and sea. She feels a deep attachment to her Acadian roots and her paintings of long abandoned fishing shacks, barns and farmhouses evoke memories of the lives of previous generations. The exhibit can be viewed during library open hours through May.
