Exhibit: Len Dow

A painting of an old fishing shack with construction scraps laying around it. Above the door it says "Tidal Boatworks".

Come see an exhibit of Len Dow’s paintings at the library! They will be on display from May 3 to 30 during open hours. Dow paints with acrylic on canvas. His love of Nova Scotia and fishing boats is represented in this exhibit. This collection is titled La Baie Saint Marie est mon petit coin du monde (1755).

About Len Dow:

Len began painting four years ago after retiring. He was always drawing and sketching, and eventually took up painting. Len captures images with his camera during his summers in Nova Scotia. He paints these images during the cold winter days at his home in Stratford, Ontario while dreaming of Nova Scotia. Len has shown his art at a variety of galleries and coffee shops in Nova Scotia. His art will be shown this summer at Sissiboo Visitor Centre in Weymouth, and Big Blue Gallery in St. Bernard.
