The Digby and Yarmouth have summer staff to help people with their phones, tablets and laptops in July and August.
The two trainers can also help with applications such as email and social media. They will aid people with their devices and offer guidance on a variety of related problems. This is a free service.
On Wednesday, Aug. 13 from 1 to 4 p.m., technology trainer Luca Pothier will offer a workshop on computer parts. She will show how to take apart a computer and discover how it works. The session takes place in the small meeting room at the Yarmouth library, 405 Main St. in Yarmouth.
Digby’s technology trainer Mason Cromwell is ready to help during library open hours. Stop in to the library at 84 Warwick St. in Digby. Library hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 12:30 to 8 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mason’s last day is Aug. 22.
The trainer in Yarmouth is available Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 12 to 8 p.m., and every second Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
