Salles communautaires

Some library branches have community rooms. These can be used by the public.

Non-profit and for-profit groups can use the rooms.

Library events have priority for using the rooms.

The library is not responsible for the groups that use the rooms. It does not ask what they believe or what they do. Using a room does not mean the library agrees with or supports a group.

Réservations

Library staff will book the rooms. They can give people the following information.

  • When rooms are available
  • What equipment is in the room
  • Accessibility of the room
  • Kitchen facilities in the room
  • How many people can use the room at one time

Frais de location

Library branches can charge fees for the rooms. Each branch sets its own fees. Branch staff can tell users what the fees are.

Non-profit groups may not have to pay fees for rooms. This is up to the building owners.

Groups who join the library to put on events do not have to pay fees for rooms.
