Clean Foundation: Water Ways

Wednesday, March 12, 1 to 2 p.m.

See the water cycle as you never have before! Dive into how water moves in our natural world, through observation, experimentation and condensation. A stream of experiments will get you in the flow and thinking about the properties of water, while a fun and engaging game will get you moving and circulating. This program is for children aged 5 to 10 years. Register no later than Saturday, March 8 by contacting the library. This program is in partnership with Clean Foundation.

Clean Foundation : bourdonnant de vie

Wednesday, March 12, 10 to 11 a.m.

Through interactive games and activities, learn about critter connections. Discover the needs of diverse local species at risk, from the mighty moose to the mini monarch. Donning their naturalist bandanas, youth will get to practice their citizen scientist skills. They will learn about habitat observation using both Western and Mi’kmaw ways of knowing. This program is for children aged 5 to 10 years. Register no later than Saturday, March 8 by contacting the library. This program is in partnership with Clean Foundation.

Preschool Story Time

Thursdays, 10 to 11 a.m.

Children aged five and under and their caregivers are invited to join staff from Parent’s Place for an hour of stories and play at the library. This program is in partnership with Parents Place.

Robot Maze Racing

Thursday, March 13, 2 to 5 p.m.

All ages can use the library’s Sphero robots to race their friends or others through a twin mirror maze.

Children aged 7 to 12 can explore science and technology. Learn about clean energy and electric vehicles with SuperNOVA in this special two-hour March Break program. Register no later than Wednesday, March 12 by contacting the library.

Family Fun

Fridays, 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Meet your friends at the library to read books and play together! This drop-in program is for families with young children.

LEGO Club

Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Use your imagination to design and build a LEGO creation. This program is for children aged 4 to 12 (those under 9 years of age must be accompanied by an adult).
