A one-hour workshop at library branches in Digby, Shelburne and Yarmouth will explore the origins of the Mi’kmaw language and how it relates to the broader Algonquin language family.

Fun with Arts and Crafts: Dino Suncatchers

Children aged 5 to 11 will make dinosaur suncatchers that cast shadows in the sunshine. Register no later than Friday, May 31 by contacting the library. Remarque : Children under 9 must be accompanied by a caregiver. Free rides may be available through Sou’West Nova Transit. Call 844-637-2572 in advance to request a trip. Adults must travel with children under 16.
