Decorate a Halloween Tree and Storytime
School-aged children can come help decorate the Halloween tree in our lobby! Join us afterwards to listen to some (not too scary) Halloween stories by a (fake) camp fire.

Galaxy Popcorn
School-aged children can join us in making Galaxy Popcorn! We'll eat some while we learn about the Shag Harbour UFO Incident. Contact the library to register by Wednesday, September 30.
Science Club: Flying Fun
We will make many different paper air planes and fly them to see the difference in each. How high? How fast? Does it glide? Is it too heavy? Children under 9 should be accompanied by an adult.
Community Play Group
Families with children five and younger can join library and Shelburne Family Resource Centre staff for a variety of free play, songs, games and story time at the library.
Library Storytime
Babies, toddlers, and their caregivers are are invited to join staff for an hour of stories and play at the Yarmouth Library!
Fall Play Group
Stop by the library for play group! Enjoy interactive play with the toys and activities provided. This program is for young children and their caregivers.
LEGO Play
Drop in and design and build using the library's LEGO collection. This program is for school aged children. Those under 9 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
