Science Tonight
Working in teams of two, school-aged children will intertwine two books into one. Can they be pulled apart? Is it possible or not? Join us to find out and learn about physics and friction! Contact the library to register by September 3.
Community Play Group
Families with children five and younger can join library and Shelburne Family Resource Centre staff for a variety of free play, songs, games and story time at the library.
Library Storytime
Toddlers and their caregivers are are invited to join staff for an hour of stories and play at the Yarmouth Library!

Children in upper elementary to preteen ages can join library clerk, "Feral Carol", for a variety of arts and crafts. Each session is a new project. Register by the day before the program at 5 pm by contacting the library.

Melted Crayon Suncatcher
School aged children can create suncatchers using melted crayons! Contact the library to register by September 18.
Making of the Sistine Chapel
School-aged children can join library staff to do some painting. Recreate how the Sistine Chapel was made by making art upside down! We will paint using the underneath of our tables as the ceiling. Contact the library by September 18 to register.
