Borrow-by-Mail is a service available to anyone who lives in the Digby, Yarmouth or Shelburne counties who has trouble getting to a library branch. <\/span><\/p>\n Borrow-by-Mail allows users to borrow books and materials through the mail. The library mails your items to your home address. They come with a postage-paid return label. This means you do not need to pay to return the package. Borrow-by-Mail members have a four-week loan period. This gives the items time to get to where they are going.<\/span><\/p>\n If you are not a library member click here to\u00a0Get a Library Card<\/a>. Your library card will be mailed to you within 3 business days. Select the library branch closest to you as your library branch. You must provide a mailing address to use Borrow-by-Mail services. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n You can select your own materials online through our library catalogue. Use your library card and PIN to log in to your online account. Some libraries may not loan new or popular items and may charge for interlibrary loan services. Upon approval, any interlibrary loan fees will be passed on to the library patron. There may be charges for photocopies.<\/span><\/p>\n Interlibrary loan materials cannot be renewed through your Library Account.
