Library offers an opportunity to learn more about Mi’kmaw language

A one-hour workshop at library branches in Digby, Shelburne and Yarmouth will explore the origins of the Mi’kmaw language and how it relates to the broader Algonquin language family.

LEGO Club

Design and build a LEGO creation. This program is for children aged 4 to 12 (those under 9 years of age must be accompanied by an adult). Remarque : Children under 9 must be accompanied by a caregiver. Free rides may be available through Sou’West Nova Transit. Call 844-637-2572 in advance to request a trip. Adults must travel with children under 16. Look for the signs highlighting the library’s new Photography and Video in the Library policy.
