Exhibit: Jill and Andie Kyte

image of two paintings of fishing boats and flowers

This exhibit features the acrylic-on-canvas paintings of mother-and-daughter artists Jill and Andie Kyte. Andie is 11 years old, and lives in Digby. Andie is creative and likes to spend time painting with her mom. She is inspired by her window view of the Annapolis Basin and the Fisherman’s Wharf. Jill Kyte is a mother, a school teacher and a self-taught artist. Using a basic palette of the three primary colours, she loves to experiment and mix paint. Simple in composition, she used acrylic paint on canvas to create flowers that are bold and bright. It can be viewed during open hours in April.
