African Nova Scotian Stories
Hosted by Carmelita Johnson and Shawnalynn Cromwell, this celebration of African Heritage Month features Carmelita Johnson reading from the works of Shauntay Grant. Storytelling has been an important part of African culture and traditions. Authors from African Nova Scotian communities have written books to share their stories and continue that tradition. Please register no later than Feb. 8 by contacting the library. Storm date is Saturday, Feb. 25. This program is in partnership with Turning the Tide-Inspiring Communities.
